Copper Serpentine necklace

Another of my latest creations, this was an experiment with settings. I really like semi-precious stones, the colors and textures of God's creations. Having worked at a lapidary (just one summer in college), I also appreciate odd-shaped cabachons (or non-calibrated, free form cabs), but then you can't just buy a setting for them...and I don't do blow-torch work. So, I've experimented with copper sheet metal and wire (and PMC, but that one's still a work in progress). The stone is a copper-based mineral called serpentine. SOLD

Blue Chalcedony and purple earrings

I created these as a custom request for someone who likes blue and purple.  I love chalcedony's translucent, milky quality, giving it a dreaminess.  I also used amethyst rounds and freshwater pearls.
